What We Do

Family Promise helps local communities coordinate their compassion to address the root causes of family homelessness. We address the issue holistically, providing prevention services before families reach crisis, shelter and case management when they become homeless, and stabilization programs once they have secured housing to ensure they remain independent. We tap existing local resources to empower families towards economic stability. Families come to us in crisis; we help them rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support.

Please read the information below before completing the online intake form.

 

Before You Apply

​

  • Family Promise provides ONE-TIME services.
    Do not apply if your family has received services from us before.

  • You must have at least one child under age 18 in your household.

  • Parent(s) must have legal guardianship of the child(ren).

  • You must list ALL members of your household on the application. When you add family members, you MUST include their name(s) AND their date(s) of birth. Do not submit unless your children and their details are added. 

  • Completing an application does not guarantee services, funding, or shelter.

 

Choose the Program You Need

A. Rotational Shelter
For families who need shelter.

​

B. Prevention Rental Assistance
You must have a 14-day or 30-day notice.

​

C. Diversion Move-In Assistance
You must have a lease or move-in cost sheet.

​

When Completing the Form

​

  • Complete all questions marked with a *.

  • Provide a working phone number AND email address.

  • List everyone in your household, including children.

 

After You Apply

​

Our Intake Coordinator will contact you within 5 business days after we receive your completed application.

​

Please allow additional time if we are experiencing a high volume of applications.

​

If you call and need to leave a voicemail, please leave ONLY ONE message.

Please do not leave multiple voicemails. Multiple messages can fill our voicemail system and delay our ability to return calls.
